Paul led a workshop on interpersonal violence in Berkeley on January 24, 2009.
Paul will be participated in the Washington Coalition Against Domestic Violence Annual Conference in Wanatchee, Washington on September 22 and 23, 2008.
From October 25 through November 1, Paul will be leading violence prevention training workshops in Okinawa, Japan. He had the privilege of traveling to Japan to give some trainings to Japanese professionals and community members who are working on issues of violence prevention and social justice using our Making the Peace curriculum.
Paul discussed racism, men’s work, and issues of wealth, power, and class in workshops at LaGuardia Community College on September 12, 2008.
On June 11 and 12, 2008, Paul co-led the “Together for a Change” workshop in Kenora, Ontario, Canada.

Building on the foundation established by Sharon Martinas with the Challenging White Supremacy trainings, the Catalyst Project is launching the Anne Braden Anti-racist Training Program for white anti-racist activists and organizers. Paul is an advisor to the Catalyst Project and in this picture he is with Catalyst Project staff and the mentors who will be assigned to the Anne Braden program participants during a recent mentor training. In May 2007, Paul and his colleague, Nell Myhand, prepared the training team in Berks County, PA to lead their first ever summer PeaceWorks Camp for high school students. In honor of their work the training team planted three trees, one at the camp site, one at an elementary school, and one at the lead church sponsoring the camp.
In June 2007, Paul joined thirty other men who work on mobilizing men to end men’s violence from around the country to build a support network for men doing this work and to explore whether a more formal collaborative organization or some other ongoing effort would be useful in supporting women’s work to end men’s violence. This gathering was sponsored by the Waitt Family Foundation. Chad Keoni Sniffen took this picture of the men involved.
